Lazure will share some stories of Maine women’s suffragists, including Anne
Garnett, and connect their experiences and work to the development of the new
First Amendment Museum in Augusta.
Rebecca Lazure is executive director of the Gannett House Project, which houses the First Amendment Museum. The Museum is expected to be open to the public in 2020.
