Beginning and Advanced Crochet

Learn crochet basics and increase your knowledge at your own pace. Patterns designed by the teacher will be supplied. Students will need to bring yarn (light color, worsted weight), an “H” hook and an “I” hook, yarn needle (size 13), tape measure, scissors, notepad and pen.


Carole Fitzgerald learned to crochet 50 years ago from her mother-in-law and has had a variety of her patterns published. She taught crochet at Michaels, Joann’s, and at Stevens Elementary School and Stevenson Middle School in Houston, Texas. Carole especially enjoys the pleasure of creating new bears, hats, ponchos and afghans.


COVID REQUIREMENTS:  Masks are required in classrooms, unless waived by the instructor. We recommend carrying a mask at all times while on the campus to use as needed.
