Art Journals are not the place for fine art. They can get messy. They can get positively unruly. There are no mistakes because they are not product oriented but about process, experimentation, and stream of consciousness. In the first class, we will hand make an art journal to use. In the following classes we will include muses of creativity and creativity as a resource for a more gratifying life.
Students will be asked for $15 towards an Art Journal.
Stephanie Harkness retired in 2009 from the Veterans Affairs Medical Center. She has an MSW from Florida State University and Art Therapy Certificate from University of Oklahoma. She has over 30 years experience facilitating groups and workshops. She carries on her personal art practice and enjoys encouraging others to explore their own creativity.
