ARTICLE GUIDELINES:

• Authors must be members of UMA Senior College or have taken a UMASC class during the fall 2023 semester.
• Articles containing 250 to 750 words work best and 1,000 words is the maximum length.
• Submit a photo of yourself. Photos illustrating your article are encouraged. Ensure that UMA Senior College has written permission to print photos you do not own.
• Send your article as a Microsoft Word attachment or in the body of an email.
• Articles may be edited. Authors have final approval on any revisions.
• Send your article to Ann Sullivan (ann.v.sullivan@maine.edu) by email with Illuminator in the subject line.
• Articles may be published in the Illuminator, the UMA Senior College website, or both.
• Contact Ann or the UMA Senior College office (office@umasc.org) if you do not receive notification of receipt of your work within a few days.
