Carole Baldwin chairs the Curriculum Committee and is past chair of the UMASC Board. She was a health educator and physical education teacher in high school and then a counselor in middle school. As an educator and counselor in a school system she enjoyed working with students , parents and teachers. Carole was instrumental with others in starting a Civil Rights team at the middle school and a Crisis Response team for the district. Here at Senior College she developed and taught a balance class , a pickle ball class and did a lecture with photos of her many birding adventures with her sister in law. Now she is enjoying teaching the mixed media classes with Elizabeth where they both marvel at the creative group of explorers that play and work with mixed media art supplies.

Elizabeth Luckraft graduated from the University of Maine with a degree in elementary education and has a master’s in education and a master’s in clinical mental health counseling. She was a member of the faculty at the University of Maine at Farmington for 25 years and was previously a classroom teacher at a variety of grade levels. Her work as a clinical counselor, a polarity therapist, and a teacher have all fed her passion for seeing the best in people and supporting them in their personal growth and exploration. Elizabeth loves being creative and especially enjoys working in acrylic mixed media, playing guitar, and gardening.  She is grateful to be a teacher at Senior College within a community of such warm and creative artistic explorers!
