Students from the spring semester have been pre-registered for this course.

In the spring semester our students learned how to sew dresses to donate to the Dress a Girl Around the World Program. This class is an extension of the spring semester and gives our students enrolled in the spring semester two additional days to sew dresses. This is not for beginners that are not already familiar with the sewing techniques needed to make these dresses, As with the spring semester students will need to bring their sewing machines, scissors, rulers, pins etc.

We will be offering a full beginner course in Spring 2027.

Continue to Sew Dresses for the Dress a Girl Around the World Program

Linda Fowler is a retired teacher. She has sewn most of her adult life. Often sewing projects were intertwined with lessons in her classroom. Volunteering has always been important to her. She has been sewing for Dress a Girl Around the World for 3 years and has established a group of sewers in Corinna,Me. Her goal is to spread the word about the work this organization does and recruit more sewers.
