In this beginner friendly workshop, participants will learn the fundamentals of needle felting while creating a 6-inch standing gnome that will fit in the palm of the hand. Each participant will choose their preferred wool colors from the provided materials to personalize their gnome. All materials provided. A materials fee of $15.00 (cash or check) is payable to the instructor at the start of class.

Students will need to attend both classes to complete their gnome.  

Needle Felting for Beginners – Make a Gnome!

Instructor Mary Sabins has been needle felting since 2016, after taking an adult education enrichment class at a local high school. Upon retirement in 2023 from a 30+ year career in municipal government work, she began teaching needle felting classes at area high schools, retirement centers, family gatherings, and private home settings. She enjoys teaching students of all ages who want to learn more about needle felting wool fibers into fun projects!
