Gain a new appreciation for the beauty of mathematics. In Art Meets Math, we will create artwork exhibiting geometric designs based on the Fibonacci sequence, the Golden Ratio, fractal patterns, tessellations, and various types of symmetry. Neither mathematical experience nor artistic ability is required.

MATERIALS: Students will need a compass, protractor, and ruler for the class. To purchase a kit, click here.  Colored pencils and paper will be provided, but you may bring your own art supplies if you prefer.

For inspiration, watch this video about the Mandelbrot Set, a famous fractal.
