A Zoom class for advancing bridge players. Instructors will deep-drill into the guidelines for responder’s double and redouble, preemptive jump raises, and cuebids as presented in Chapter 4 of Audrey Grant’s Bridge Basics 2 – Competitive Bidding. Students should be familiar with the guidelines for an overcall and takeout double described in Chapters 2 and 3 of the same text.
Audrey Grant’s Bridge Basics 2 – Competitive Bidding has been updated in 2023. Although all four chapters have been improved and the updated text is recommended, the 2005 version will be adequate if you already own it.

Norma prefers duplicate and is a certified ACBL (American Contract Bridge League) instructor.
Connie has played social bridge since college and is an enthusiastic advocate of modern competitive bidding.
