Central Maine’s Architectural History
Instructor: Dan Mitchell

Class size 5-24 students
15 seats remaining
Location: Zoom
If pandemic life becomes more restrictive, we may need to forego our site visits. Plan B would be to meet in person on campus during those 3 weeks. Plan C would be to fill those 3 weeks with additional Zoom content.
This course will explore a “large view” of architectural history (and historic preservation) through the “small doorway” of central Maine’s local architecture. Five Zoom slide lectures will cover five major architectural eras from the 18th century to the early twentieth. Three in-person tours at nearby sites will reinforce the slide presentations.
