Ashley Bryan, Dahlov Ipcar, Bernard Langlais, and David Driskell are Maine artists who have given us treasures beyond their fine art. Books, sculptures, stained glass windows, prints, collages, and a Maine art trail will be discussed. We will explore some of their works culminating in an optional in-person sculpture tour of some of Bernard Langlais’ art in Skowhegan.Classes

Jane Woodruff is a retired occupational therapist who has had the opportunity to complete the Bernard Langlais Art Trail as well as to photograph in-depth the restoration of the Skowhegan Indian.
Pat Davidson Reef is an arts journalist, has a master’s degree in education, and has written three children’s books: Dahlov Ipcar, Artist (2016), Bernard Langlais Revisited (2018), and David Driskell, Artist, Educator and Author (2020). She has taught Classic Films for 20 years in the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at the University of Southern Maine at the Portland campus.
