This page gives you information about the class, including the intended size for the class and how many spaces remain. To register for the class, click on the blue button at the bottom right of the page that says, “Add to Cart”.
After you click, an additional button will appear ("View Cart") that will take you to your shopping cart which contains this class and any others you have chosen. You can click if you like, or you can click on the button at the bottom left that takes you back to the list of other classes.
Note: You can only choose the class once. If you click "Add to Cart" an extra time, a second class will not be added and a reminder message will appear.

Intermediate Basketry

This class will be for students who have mastered basic skills. A series of baskets will be offered that will introduce more challenging skills. The student will be able to choose which basket to work on. If a student has a specific type of basket in mind, that can also be explored. Each student will work at his/her own pace. Diane Wheeler graduated from the University of Maine at Orono with a social work degree. She took several art courses while attending college. Diane worked for the State of Maine for 25 years and retired as a Case Work Supervisor for children’s services. Over the years, Diane has taken numerous courses and workshops in various art mediums. Her current main interest is Basketry.
