REGISTER NOW for Free Summer Zoom Classes!
Since so many of us are home social distancing this summer, Senior College has initiated a program of summer Zoom classes to provide our traditional lifelong learning in an online environment that helps us keep in touch. Zoom classes will usually begin at least 10 minutes early so we have time to say hi, catch-up, and meet newcomers. These classes will also give some who have not participated in Senior College a chance to try it out. We are hoping these classes will bring more members of the community to come to know and enjoy Senior College. To that end, our summer program is, like the new UMA Jumpstart program, cost-free.
However, for those who can, we urge students, new and old, to become a member of UMASC. Our membership levels have been expanded. We have added a basic level at $10.00, and also some levels above the traditional $25.00 for those who can afford to be more generous.
Your 2020-2021 membership makes our outreach to the larger community possible, ensures the continuity of Senior College, and entitles you to attend classes when membership is again required in the fall and spring. Membership will also keep you up to date on Senior College events by postal mail, not just by email and the web, while we do not have access to classroom handouts.
